So I'm skipping around the calendar a little bit, but I just found a great resource for paddling the Flambeau, and I figured as long as I'm sharing it I might as well pass along the information I have about our August adventure (which doesn't amount to much at this point).
First of all, have you seen Paddle the Flambeau River? I was pretty excited to find this link in a Wisconsin trails guide.
When we visit the Flambeau in August we're planning to navigate the North Fork. From what I hear the South Fork gets pretty wild, and I for one am not up for that quite yet (give me a couple years ;). Look here for a brief description of our route (Flambeau River 3--North Fork).
