Well, it looks like God is smiling down on us again, as He has sent us more rain. James and I took the kids out for a paddle on Spring Creek and Lake Montanis this evening. The creek is a great place for spotting waterfowl and it's surprisingly deep for such a small body of water. My kids spent the weekend with my in-laws while James and I were at a conference. My in-laws live along the Elk River in Minnesota, so while the kids were visiting they spent some time hiking in the woods and walking along the water. On April 2, Tammy and Jodi paid a visit to the source of the Chetek Chain of Lakes.
